Lincoln Cathedral - Crossing ceiling

An interior shot of the Lincoln cathedral ceiling at the crossing with some of the lighting effects caused by a concert that was being rehearsed.

Some of the interior of Lincoln Cathedral was used in the movie "The Da Vinici Code" which was based on the novel by Dan Brown.

The cathedral itself was first built in 1072, though most of the current one dates from the 13th Century. It houses one of the original copies of the Magna Carta, the Lincoln Chapter Bible (c1100), and also a school book from 1410 with the first ever recorded rhyme about Robin Hood.
